Good to know: Use a plant-based wax designed for your candle type. Make sure your selected fragrance percentage is within both the fragrance oil recommendation and the wax manufacturer’s range.

HOW TO USE IT

Plan the batch in four steps

    Set the candle weight

    Enter the finished weight of one candle, including fragrance oil.

  2. 2

    Choose a fragrance oil

    Its recommended candle range appears automatically.

  3. 3

    Choose your percentage

    Use any value inside the range. The percentage is calculated from the wax weight.

  4. 4

    Split the batch if needed

    Keep the full batch in one fragrance or divide it between several oils.

SIMPLE PRODUCTION GUIDE

From calculation to finished batch

Prepare each fragrance as a separate batch and record your working details.

BEFORE YOU START

A few important rules

Use the oil’s own range

A range such as 6–12% is not one fixed target. Choose a value inside it and test the result.

Check the limit

Always check the IFRA limit for the fragrance and the SDS for the finished product.

Follow the wax instructions

Melting, fragrance-addition and pouring temperatures are not universal.

Test the complete candle

Wax, fragrance, percentage, wick, container or mould all affect the result.
